Privacy Policy – Chromos
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This policy explains how the Chromos app ("the App", "we") collects and processes users' personal data. By using the App you accept the practices described below. We process data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
1. Data we collect
The App does not require a proprietary account and does not directly collect your name, address or email. Data is collected through Google third-party services:
- Advertising ID and ad-related usage data, via Google AdMob, to serve ads (including personalized ads) and measure their performance. This may involve profiling for advertising purposes.
- Technical and diagnostic data (device model, operating system, device identifiers, IP address, ad interaction data), processed by Google to operate and secure the advertising service.
- Google account and game data, via Google Play Games Services, if you choose to sign in: player identifier, scores ("Best Score" leaderboard) and unlocked achievements. We do not collect cloud saves (feature not enabled).
2. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
- Personalized ads: legal basis = consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected via Google's consent message (UMP) on first launch in the EU/EEA. You may refuse or withdraw consent at any time; non-personalized ads will then be shown.
- Non-personalized ads and basic operation of the advertising service: legal basis = legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in financially supporting a free app.
- Play Games Services (leaderboard/achievements): legal basis = consent, expressed by voluntarily signing in with your Google account.
3. Partners and recipients
Data is processed by the following Google providers, each with its own policy:
4. International transfers
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in its policies.
5. Retention
We do not directly store personal data on our servers. Retention periods for data processed by Google are defined in Google's policies.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can:
- reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android device settings;
- withdraw consent to personalized ads via the in-app consent form or Google settings;
- manage or delete your game data from your Google Play Games account.
To exercise your rights, contact dtdvnp@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age applicable in your country) and does not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; changes will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
